Chinese Bulbul
Pycnonotus sinensis A large white patch covering the nape and the sides of its black head makes the Chinese bulbul instantly recognisable. Its song is also quite unique with a cha-ko-lee...cha-ko-lee... sound. In Hong Kong, it is found in lightly wooded areas, shrubland and urban parks. It is commonly sighted throughout the USRC grounds and is likely to be resident all year round. |
